Basin council is government public consultative commission to support activities of Director of Basin directorate. Basin council includes representatives of government officials, municipalities, water users,and environmental non-government organizations in area of district., as well as representatives scientific and professional organizations working on field of water.Basin council for East Aegean district is established with 2003 of the Director of Basin directorate and staff is no more than 30 members.
